Know your destination and the path will appear.
It is often times hard to get to a new place (your goal) and it is almost impossible if you do not know the way (clear direction).
Follow these 5 steps to set your SMART goal that will give you the clear direction you need:
Step 1: Specific –The goal should identify a specific action that will take place.
Step 2: Measurable –The goal and its benefits should be quantifiable.
Step 3: Achievable –The goal should be attainable given available resources.
Step 4: Realistic –The goal should require you to stretch some, but allow the likelihood of success.
Step 5: Time Bound–The goal should state the time period in which it will be accomplished
