Hello! Thank you for stopping by my site.
Life is too short and the days too long not to feel as well as your possibly can.
Life is NOT about feeling tired, having brain fog, and high cholesterol. Life is NOT about waking and not feeling refreshed (if you actually DID sleep!) or the freshman 15 x 2 that have crept on over the years (How did this happen?!)
I know, I have been there.
My name is Melissa Ford Cox, I live in Oakland, CA and have a Master’s of Science in Applied Nutrition and a Certificate in Holistic Nutrition. After spending more than twenty years working in the advertising and marketing industries, I knew I needed a change. I was tired, I had gained weight, I did NOT sleep at night which lead to excess caffeine, poor nutrition choices, and no exercise. Sound familiar?
Here’s how I may help: I am a creative problem solver. I have been right where you are and I get how hard it is to change. We start where you are at and move forward from there, with maximum flavor and minimal effort in mind. (Ready to try a delicious way to make vegetables your new starchy carb go-to?!) I can teach you how to use nutrition and lifestyle changes to restore your health. For good.
Here’s my philosophy: Cook. Breathe. Move. Some days you do more, some less but do these three things every day and you will be healthier and happier than you ever thought you could be.
Here’s is my mission: Guiding adults over 50 to boost their energy, lose weight, sleep better and increase mental performance so that they can finally feel better, sharper and more confident. I do this by creating custom food and lifestyle plans that meet people where they are and get them where they want to be.
